    miyuli: Some people have asked me how I can improve so quickly.The answer is: I don’t really!fff there is no way I can level up so much in a week, right? I didn’t practice much during that time either. The thing is this: I studied colour theory etc. a while back but when I painted I painted “whatever I felt was right”. And that is a NO-NO! I’ve heard many artists say that but if you really want to improve and make the best out of your work then use your knowledge you gained from studying! Always understand what you’re drawing. If you don’t then go back and study! So, this commission painting might not be the best example but when I revised the painting I really THOUGHT about the light sources and which planes would be brighter and how the colours would mix. I know, it could be oh so much better (that’s why I’m going back to studying from time to time) but I hope you get my point.Yeah, sorry about this. Just something I’ve been meaning to say for a while to artists and aspiring artists. Please don’t turn off your brain when you draw!!! (I am obviously not a fan of senseless Modern Art…)
